Job Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements
- Clean driving record with no more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents in the last three years
- No DUI convictions in the past seven years
- Ability to work in a drug-free environment
- Ability to lift 75lbs regularly and move over 125lbs with equipment
- At least one year of recent CDL driving experience or recent trucking school completion
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including frequent vehicle entry and exit
- Maintain appropriate medical card
- Must comply with company safety and regulatory policies
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements
- One year of CDL driving experience in the last five years or a certificate of completion from trucking school within the last 12 months
- Ability to lift 75lbs regularly and move more than 125lbs with material handling equipment
- Forklift experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance related to CDL driving
Job Duties
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders and supplies
- Nurture courteous and professional relationships with customers
- Support deliveries in a timely manner
- Safely secure and unsecure cylinders
- Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart
- Frequently move in and out of the vehicle during the delivery process
