Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proof of insurance including liability and bodily injury
- Reliable vehicle capable of carrying multiple medium-sized bags
- Comfortable using smartphone technology
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, or push objects up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with app-based delivery software is a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proof of insurance including liability and bodily injury
- Reliable clean vehicle capable of carrying multiple medium-sized bags
- Comfortable using a smartphone for routing and instructions
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, or push up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with local geographical area
Job Duties
- Arrive at the designated Thistle location at the scheduled shift time ensuring smartphone is fully charged and vehicle has a full tank of gas
- Ensure that all items are accounted for before delivery departure
- Use the delivery app to start and complete all assigned delivery tasks and follow customer instructions
- Collect return bags and ice packs from Thistle customers when dropping off their deliveries and return them to pickup location
- Maintain high-level and consistent communication with the dispatch team
- Follow scheduled delivery routes and timelines
- Provide excellent customer service during all delivery interactions
