Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • CDL Class A license required
  • steel toed boots required
  • ability to perform physical labor including lifting and moving inventory
  • valid driver's license
  • clean driving record
  • ability to scan and maintain delivery logs
  • availability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm

Job Qualifications

  • valid CDL Class A license
  • ability to operate warehouse equipment
  • knowledge of safety procedures
  • customer service skills
  • ability to communicate effectively with management and customers

Job Duties

  • safely drive truck or van to transport materials within specified area
  • verify loads against shipping papers
  • obtain signed receipts for material delivered
  • scan each delivery into system before leaving the warehouse
  • maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
  • determine best route for effective delivery of product that will satisfy customers' expectations of a timely delivery
  • record delivery information
  • inspect truck equipment and supplies as required
  • immediately report any deficiencies to ensure safe operation
  • perform physical requirements necessary to lift and move inventory around the warehouse
  • load and unload trucks
  • operate and maneuver warehouse equipment and any materials contained thereon in the manner consistent with the intended purpose of the equipment and the manufacturers' instructions
  • follow all company safety procedures
  • perform Material Handler responsibilities when not engaged in primary responsibilities
  • promote and maintain good customer relations
  • may promote new sales as opportunities arise
  • take an active role in communicating customer feedback to Company management, including customer complaints, requests, returns, performance, competitive information, and potential opportunities
