Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of professional driving experience
- valid driver’s license with no air brake or automatic restrictions
- ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- ability to work early morning shifts starting at 4:00 AM
- ability to perform daily vehicle inspections
- familiarity with DOT regulations and E-log systems
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- reliable and punctual
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- no air brake or automatic restrictions
- 1+ year of professional driving experience
Job Duties
- follow written standard work and meet cycle times for each task
- deliver product on time and in the same condition it left LBR
- follow delivery instructions and place product where requested
- return any product that is refused or needs to come back
- maintain an accurate driver manifest and correct errors before they impact customers
- operate E-logs to meet DOT requirements
- use routing software on a handheld device
- complete DOT daily vehicle inspections on a handheld device
- recommend process improvements related to safety, quality, and productivity
- work independently with minimal supervision
- maintain awareness of safety hazards
- demonstrate attention to detail
- lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
