Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Clean driving record with no SR22 insurance
  • Active auto insurance policy
  • Copies of CDL and DMV record required prior to starting
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 170 pounds occasionally
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to follow safety and operational procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid CDL class A or B license
  • Current documentation of DOT medical certification
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Prior experience in beverage delivery preferred
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Ability to operate forklift, pallet jack, hand truck effectively
  • Knowledge of vehicle inspection and safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Read and efficiently work from routing manifest to deliver products to customers using truck, forklift, pallet jack and/or hand truck
  • Accurately record invoices, credits, or other instructional information on the routing manifest, complying with special instructions for proper and efficient delivery
  • Safely and efficiently deliver product to the customer per instructions on the manifest
  • Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipt
  • Maintain accurate records of the route, follow check-in procedures, verify accurate payment for invoices and check in any returned product
  • Assist customers during delivery as needed
  • Follow correct procedures to document customer receipt of product, omission or error, collect payment as appropriate
  • Listen to service complaints
  • Place stock on shelves or racks
  • Collect or pick up empty containers, rejects, or unsold merchandise
  • Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
  • Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of the assigned vehicle and complete pre-trip/post-trip report
  • Suggest and implement ways for the warehouse and company to improve profits, improve quality, and improve service
