Job Requirements
- 6 to 12 months commercial driving experience
- High school diploma or GED or state approved equivalent
- Valid CDL A
- Meet all state licensing or certification requirements where applicable
- Must be 21 years of age
- Clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Valid current DOT health card or able to secure new DOT health card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, or other equipment to move product cases/freight
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Attend and successfully complete entry level driver trainee or dock to driver training program
- Ride with and assist driver trainer in executing deliveries
- Perform all required safety checks including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight and complete all required paperwork
- Drive and deliver customer orders according to predetermined routes
- Unload products, transport items to designated storage areas, perform damage control checks, verify deliveries and obtain signatures
- Ensure tractor, trailer and freight are appropriately secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and complete necessary paperwork
- Complete daily record of hours of service in accordance with DOT, state and company requirements
- Perform general housekeeping duties and secure all equipment and paperwork at shift end
- Perform other related duties as assigned
