Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with no DUIs
- Minimum one year experience driving delivery trucks of less than three tons
- Ability to maintain a driving record meeting federal, state and company standards
- Ability to complete a drug screening process
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
Job Qualifications

- Ability to read instructions, policies, procedures, bills of lading, and product descriptions
- Ability to complete written forms
- Ability to exercise good judgement and work independently
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Successful completion of a drug screen
Job Duties
- Properly operate and maintain the delivery truck including obeying all state, county, and local laws and reporting accidents, incidents and/or violations or traffic citations
- Ensure all delivery loads are stacked, padded, and properly secured
- Verify the load accuracy against the Bill of Lading and acquire the appropriate signatures
- Load and unload tires and parts on the delivery truck by hand and pallet jack
- Effectively communicate with all store associates and management
- Assist with distribution center and hub operational activities when no deliveries are scheduled
- Perform deliveries to Pep Boys stores after store hours as required
