Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with no DUIs
  • 1 year of experience driving delivery trucks of less than three (3) tons
  • Ability to maintain a driving record which meets federal, state and company standards
  • Ability to read instructions, policies, procedures, bills of lading, and product descriptions
  • Ability to complete written forms
  • Successful completion of a drug screen
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgement and work independently
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Responsible for all aspects of properly operating and maintaining the delivery truck including obeying all state, county, and local laws and reporting accidents, incidents and/or violations or traffic citations
  • Ensure all delivery loads are stacked, padded, and properly secured
  • Verify the load accuracy against the Bill of Lading and acquire the appropriate signatures
  • Load and unload tires and parts on the delivery truck by hand and pallet jack
  • Perform a variety of warehouse function such as unloading and loading 53 Ft. trailers
  • Other duties as assigned
