Job Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license
- Two years of driving experience
- Current motor vehicle insurance coverage on personal vehicle
- Ability to follow traffic safety laws
- Ability to handle monetary transactions accurately
- Ability to read and follow directions or maps
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods
- Food Handler’s permit or Foodservice Sanitation Certification as required by local laws
- Reliable personal vehicle in safe and clean condition
Job Qualifications
- Able to follow and carry out instructions via written or oral form
- Able to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Able to understand written or verbal instructions, product labels, receipts, and restaurant menus
- Able to construct and write simple sentences, numbers, names, and addresses
- Must communicate appropriately with crew and management and convey a friendly and pleasant demeanor towards guests
- Able to read or follow maps and directions
- Previous experience preferred but not required
- Maintains a valid state driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance on personal delivery vehicle
- Able to meet physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking between deliveries
- Basic knowledge of food handling standards and sanitation preferred
Job Duties
- Drives personal vehicle to deliver beverages, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and supplies to guests
- Follows all traffic safety laws while in transit
- Collects money and information from guests and makes change if needed
- Gathers and packages delivery orders for assigned guests
- Informs regular guests of new products or services and provides promotional materials
- Prepares items and stocks shelves/racks in preparation for delivery
- Verifies food orders and items before loading and transporting to guests
- May perform additional side duties such as dishwashing, preparing condiments, or making salads
- Maintains vehicle cleanliness and safety
- May pick up or transport products between locations if requested by management
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
