Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License
- Clean driving record without major violations
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of DOT regulations
- Willingness to travel overnight up to 15 percent of the time
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Class A CDL allowing operation of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating exceeding 26,000 pounds and towing trailers with GVWR over 10,000 pounds
- Clean driving record free of major violations such as DUI DWI reckless driving or multiple moving violations
- Previous experience as a Class A driver preferred
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects sometimes up to 50 pounds or more
- Knowledge of and adherence to Department of Transportation DOT regulations regarding hours of service vehicle maintenance and safety inspections
- Exposure to various weather conditions and temperatures while operating a delivery vehicle
Job Duties
- Safely transport deliver and relocate products and materials as directed by supervisor
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of products and materials adhering to security requirements
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle as mandated
- Promptly inform supervisor of any maintenance or safety concerns
- Operate company vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and local traffic laws prioritizing safety
- Maintain accurate driver logs as per DOT regulations
- Keep the vehicle in good operational condition and cleanliness
