Job Requirements
- Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or cold environment
- must be able to walk, stoop, bend, and stand for entire work shift
- must be able to pass a 10 year FBI criminal background check to obtain airport SIDA/AOA badge
- must have the ability to push up to 70lbs with the use of rolling carts and lift up to 30lbs
- must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
- must successfully complete on-the-job driver training program
- must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays
- must be able to apply safety standards
- must have at least 3 months of company seniority
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent changes
- must possess interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- ability to interpret and comprehend menu and flight galley specifications
- must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
- must possess basic math skills
- must have an excellent disciplinary record
Job Duties
- Responsible for all aspects of catering including loading equipment on to the truck
- driving the truck to the aircraft catering location
- loading galleys according to customer guidelines
- offloading dirty equipment
- placing dirty equipment and trash in designated areas
- following all ramp and AOA safety and security rules and regulations
- using mobile shelving, carts, ramps, and related airline catering equipment
- interpreting menu and flight galley specifications
- completing assigned duties by management
