Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- 1-3 years of successful experience in customer-facing roles
- valid state-issued driver's license
- minimum 2 years of safe driving experience
- CDL Class C preferred but not required
- ability to lift and carry 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency in hand truck usage and basic furniture assembly
- willingness to obtain forklift certification if required
- flexible to work weekends, holidays, occasional overtime and travel
- must successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, physical including DOT Medical Card, background check and motor vehicle record check
- subject to random and post-accident drug screening
- must sign a nondisclosure agreement
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- 1-3 years of successful experience in customer-facing roles
- valid state-issued driver's license with minimum 2 years of safe driving experience
- preferred 5+ years driving experience
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency in using hand trucks and basic assembly
- ability to operate small power tools safely
- willingness to obtain forklift certification if required
- ability to lift and carry 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- ability to read invoices and utilize systems for customer service
- flexible working hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service and experience
- act as the brand ambassador while on the road and during deliveries
- provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service during furniture delivery and assembly
- drive large box trucks safely and courteously
- maintain a timely delivery schedule and communicate with customers
- inspect delivery vehicles pre and post trip
- maintain accurate delivery logs and DOT compliance
- safely load, unload, assemble furniture, and prepare merchandise
- verify invoices and maintain inventory accuracy
- remove packaging materials and maintain a clean delivery environment
- assist with showroom changes and merchandise tagging
- greet clients and answer phones professionally
- occasionally travel long distances involving overnight stays
- perform other duties or special projects as assigned
