Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Clean motor vehicle report for the past two years
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds daily

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of delivery driving experience preferred or ability to be trained, preferably delivering products to a retail or customer facing environment
  • Hold a valid driver’s license with ability to obtain a DOT medical card
  • Clean motor vehicle report for the past two years
  • Forklift certification helpful
  • Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed to complete deliveries
  • Customer service attitude with good communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds daily
  • Basic math skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare truck for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of customer orders
  • Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers’ needs
  • Assist customers with new orders and respectfully handle issues in a timely manner
  • Collect payment for products delivered, make necessary changes, and record transactions on proper paperwork obtaining customer’s signature
  • Deliver payments to manager at the end of shift
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water daily
  • Alert management of necessary or required maintenance/repairs needed on the delivery vehicle in a prompt manner
  • Complete daily post-trip vehicle inspection report according to company policy and DOT guidelines
  • Attend company meetings and training programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned
