Job Requirements

Frequent driving in all weather conditions
Adherence to safety regulations with exposure to noise and moving machinery
Regular physical activities including walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
Physically qualified to drive motor vehicle per Sec. 391.41 medical standards
Successful pre-employment drug test screening for specified substances
Compliance with USDOT drug and alcohol testing regulations
No authorization of medical marijuana use due to federal regulations

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid driver’s license in state of residence with 3 years driving history
Acceptable motor vehicle record with no type A violation or no more than 1 type B violation in past 3 years
Minimum of 1 year driving experience operating commercial motor vehicle over 10,001 lbs GVWR preferred
Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
Ability to function independently with attention to detail

Job Duties

Support warehouse operations by transporting materials over designated routes
Ensure safe operation of vehicles
Provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of orders
Ensure that material loaded on the truck is as listed on the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest and is secured for safe transport
Unload materials for customers at each delivery location in an orderly fashion while verifying material accuracy
Perform daily detailed inspection of vehicle to ensure general maintenance and safety
Handle all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products
