Job Requirements
- Must meet physical qualifications under FMCSA Section 391.41
- ability to work safely under varying weather and environmental conditions
- frequent walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling required
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally
- pre-employment drug test required including screening for amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines
- no medical marijuana exemption
- awareness and adherence to customer safety protocols
- willingness to work in a safety-sensitive environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum three years driving history
- valid driver’s license from state of residence
- at least one year experience operating commercial motor vehicle with GVWR of 10,001 lbs or greater within 36 months
- proficiency with Android or iOS operating systems
- strong skills in reading, writing, basic calculations, data entry, reasoning, and analysis
- ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- satisfactory motor vehicle record with no Type A violations and limited Type B violations
Job Duties
- Transport materials over designated routes
- ensure safe operation of vehicles
- provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries
- ensure that material loaded on the truck matches the Ship Ticket and Delivery Manifest
- secure materials for safe transport
- unload materials at delivery locations while verifying accuracy
- perform daily detailed vehicle inspections
- manage warehouse functions including receiving, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery
- maintain orderliness of the warehouse
- adhere to safety protocols in all operations
