Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, early mornings, and varied hours
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
- minimum of 3 months professional driving experience with a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
- physically able to move furniture in all weather conditions and lift 100+ pounds with a partner
- ability to comply with FMCSA regulations
- must read and speak English sufficiently for communication and safety
- ability to maintain valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate
- ability to pass road test and drug screening
- acceptable motor vehicle record per company safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- valid and current driver’s license
- minimum 3 months professional driving experience with 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
- preferred 1 year of experience
- ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and early mornings
- physically able to lift 100+ pounds with a partner and handle furniture indoors and outdoors
- ability to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently for safety and communication
- ability to pass DOT medical evaluation and drug screening
- acceptable motor vehicle record per company standards
Job Duties
- Loading trucks safely and inspecting furniture
- attend pre-delivery planning meetings and communicate with operations
- perform pre and post trip truck inspections and prepare trucks
- complete all required documentation and operate electronic logging devices
- drive box trucks or sprinter vans safely and legally
- deliver, assemble, and maintain furniture at trade show and event venues
- inspect and load furniture during pick-ups ensuring no products are left behind
- provide professional onsite customer service
- supervise temporary labor and ensure safe, efficient work
- perform warehouse duties including loading, unloading, organizing, and cleaning
- perform other duties as assigned
