Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must have a vehicle
- valid driver’s license
- proof of insurance
- clean driving record
- minimum of two years driving experience
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- able to pass a sandwich preparation test
- must comply with all food safety standards
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong commitment to safety and law compliance while driving
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to handle cash accurately
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- knowledge of local streets and routes preferred
- basic food handling and sanitation knowledge
- physical ability to stand for long periods and carry up to 30 pounds
- basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Takes telephone orders and completes delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner
- accepts payment from customers for orders
- works with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales
- work as an in-shopper when there are no deliveries and makes fast, accurate and consistent sandwiches
- complies with all portion sizes, recipes, systems and procedures
- passes a sandwich test after two weeks of employment and at future testing times
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station and restrooms
- greets customers, takes orders, operates cash register, collects payments and makes change
- executes genuine greetings and farewells
- fills out systems and procedures with 100% accuracy and integrity
- maintains professional appearance at all times in compliance with dress code
- displays a positive attitude and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
- drives safe and obeys the rules of the road in our established delivery area only
