Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Possess a valid driver's license number
- Provide a social security number (US only)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Pass the eligibility and ID verification process
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and smartphone apps
- Ability to operate a car, scooter, or bicycle safely
- Strong time management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Deliver food and convenience store items accurately to customers
- Pick up orders from restaurants or retailers promptly
- Maintain communication with customers for smooth delivery
- Use the DoorDash app to manage and track deliveries
- Ensure items are handled carefully and delivered in good condition
- Adhere to local traffic laws and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service during each delivery
