Job Requirements

  • Must be 24 years of age or older
  • valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License
  • minimum five years total driving experience
  • minimum two years commercial driving experience
  • maximum of three minor moving violations with no accidents or one minor violation with one at-fault accident
  • valid and non-expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card
  • self-certified as a non-excepted interstate driver
  • high school diploma or GED
  • able to read, write, and communicate in English
  • basic math skills
  • pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • previous food service industry experience preferred but not required

  • valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License
  • minimum five years total driving experience
  • minimum two years commercial driving experience
  • ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • basic math skills
  • strong customer service skills
  • knowledge of product and inventory control
  • ability to operate commercial vehicles in various conditions
  • understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards
  • ability to work independently and plan routes effectively
  • proficiency in handling paperwork and cash transactions

Job Duties

  • Operate commercial vehicles safely in various traffic and weather conditions
  • meet or exceed company productivity levels
  • independently plan and organize work activities
  • develop knowledge of product and inventory control
  • maintain inter-department communications for routing and safety
  • meet or exceed accuracy standards for deliveries
  • demonstrate strong customer relations and problem resolution skills
  • deliver products on schedule and inform management of any deviations
  • unload products and place them in designated areas per customer requests
  • frequently lift and move products up to 75 pounds
  • verify deliveries with customers and handle discrepancies
  • collect and turn in funds when required
  • handle damaged goods and returns with proper documentation
  • perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • perform tractor trailer coupling
  • maintain DOT logs and vehicle maintenance reports
  • follow safety and work procedures
  • operate all assigned equipment safely
  • maintain sanitary conditions in vehicles and assist with warehouse cleanliness
  • attend required company meetings
  • perform other duties as assigned
