Job Requirements
- frequent driving in all types of weather conditions
- adherence to proper safety regulations including work around excessive noise and moving machinery
- frequent walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching
- regular handling of objects and lifting of up to 75 pounds
- physical qualification to drive a motor vehicle by the medical qualification standards in Sec. 391.41
- must undergo a department of transportation physical exam conducted by a licensed medical examiner
- successful completion of a pre-employment drug test including amphetamines, cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamines, opiates, oxycodone, and phencyclidines as per HHS and SAMHSA guidelines
- no authorization of medical marijuana as a valid medical explanation for a positive drug test
- valid driver’s license in state of residence with 3 years driving history
- minimum of 1 year of driving experience within the past 36 months operating a commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (gvwr) of 10,001 lbs or more
- acceptable motor vehicle record with no type a violation or no more than 1 type b violation in past 3 years

Job Duties
- support warehouse operations by transporting materials over designated routes
- ensure safe operation of vehicles
- provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders
- ensure that material loaded on the truck is as listed on the ship ticket and delivery manifest and is secured for safe transport from store to delivery location
- unload materials for customers at each delivery location in an orderly fashion while verifying that material being unloaded is correct based on the ship ticket
- perform daily detailed inspection of vehicle to ensure general maintenance and safety of vehicle
- responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing products for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in an orderly fashion
