Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- must have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
- ability to drive safely and obey traffic laws
- able to work as an in-shopper during non-delivery periods
- must be able to lift 30-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts
- ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout assigned shift
- ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40 degrees F to -10 degrees F
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior food service or delivery experience advantageous
- customer service skills with ability to interact positively with customers
- knowledge of local area and ability to navigate efficiently
- ability to learn menu items with 100 percent accuracy
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- drive delivery vehicle safely and efficiently within a small delivery area
- learn and follow the most efficient delivery routes
- double-check orders to ensure accuracy before delivery
- assist as an in-shopper by taking customer orders and making sandwiches
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
- provide friendly and timely customer service with a positive attitude
- comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations while on duty
