Job Requirements
- must be 21 years old or older per insurance requirements
- ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen to comply with federal DOT guidelines
- ability to pass DOT physical exam
- ability to pass a fingerprint check with extensive criminal background search
- clean MVR without moving violations in the past 3 years
- ability to repeatedly lift 50 pound packages
- ability to safely operate, back up, move, park, large delivery vehicles
Job Qualifications
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to resolve complaints and concerns
- ability to use independent judgment and manage confidential information
- experience operating box trucks or delivery vans preferred
- knowledge of electronic reporting and invoice adjustment
- customer service experience
Job Duties
- safely operate box truck up to 26,000 GVW or delivery van
- travel within Arizona to deliver fresh produce to customers
- use paper invoices or electronic tablets to make deliveries and adjust invoices
- use electronic reporting of any truck maintenance or safety issues
- load and unload shipments using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other means
- verify with customers that the delivery is correct or document any shortages or problems
- perform pre and post inspection of assigned vehicles and report any concerns
