Job Requirements

  • No degree required
  • Possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • Must qualify for corporate insurance programs
  • Meet Department of Transportation testing and physical requirements
  • Be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Comply with state, local, DOT, and FMCSA regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Six months related delivery driving experience preferred
  • Prior warehouse operations experience preferred
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Proficient with basic computer applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Effective oral communication and ability to write brief messages
  • Ability to solve routine problems by following clear procedures
  • Ability to follow guidance and priorities provided by supervisors

Job Duties

  • Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
  • Physically load company truck at the location and verify condition of the truck, manifest, and paperwork
  • Drive to delivery destination and unload truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature confirming accuracy
  • Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on returned parts
  • Collect accounts receivable as necessary
  • Comply with company policies and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service during delivery and pick-up
  • Assume other duties as assigned
