Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable insurability
  • Ability to safely operate a pick-up truck pulling a trailer
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds frequently
  • Able to get in and out of a 1-ton truck frequently and work on and around the trailer
  • Ability to operate a forklift and be licensed after hire
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Good problem solving abilities
  • Ability to read and understand product information
  • Ability to apply general math and measuring skills
  • Inventory, receiving, and material handling experience is helpful
  • Self-starter with good time management and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Forklift operation skills with license provided after hire

  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Ability to read and understand product information
  • Able to apply general math and measuring skills
  • Inventory, receiving, and material handling experience is beneficial
  • Self-starter with good time management and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Deliver and pick up materials as directed to and from the shop, job sites, and suppliers
  • Complete required log and maintenance records to ensure delivery vehicle and trailer meet DOT requirements
  • Assist with receiving and handling material for fabrication and site staging
  • Load and unload the truck/trailer in shop and field environments being able to use ratchet straps to secure and release the load
  • Assist in putting away materials and tools returned from job sites and the field in proper shop locations
  • Perform general equipment, vehicle, and building maintenance
  • Maintain shop organization and cleanliness
