Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21 years old to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on city)
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Provide a social security number if in the US
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Pass a background check and successfully verify identification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous delivery or driving experience beneficial but not required
- Comfortable using smartphone apps for navigation and communication
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license or appropriate permit
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, stores, or merchants
- Deliver orders promptly and safely to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage and accept delivery requests
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Maintain communication with customers and DoorDash support as needed
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Ensure the accuracy of orders before delivery
