Job Requirements
- Valid state Driver's License with 2 years of driving experience
- Current motor vehicle insurance on personal vehicle used for deliveries
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
- Ability to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, handle, lift, and carry objects regularly
- Visual abilities including near and far vision, depth perception, and field of vision
- Willingness to work in outside environmental conditions without protection from weather
- Compliance with local laws that may require a Food Handler's permit or Foodservice Sanitation Certification
Job Qualifications
- Able to follow and carry out instructions via written or oral form
- Able to perform basic arithmetic operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understand written or verbal instructions, product labels, receipts, and menus
- Able to construct and write simple sentences, numbers, names, and addresses
- Communicate appropriately with crew, management, and guests displaying a friendly attitude
- Able to read or follow maps and directions
- Previous delivery or customer service experience is valued but not required
Job Duties
- Drive personal vehicle to deliver beverages, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and supplies to guests
- Follow all traffic safety laws while in transit
- Collect money and information from guests and make change if needed
- Gather and package delivery orders to be delivered to assigned guests
- Inform regular guests of new products or services and provide promotional materials
- Prepare items and stock shelves/racks in preparation for delivery
- Verify food orders and items before loading and transport
- Perform additional side duties such as dishes, preparing condiments, salads, or other support functions
- Maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness
- Pick up or run product between locations if requested
- Perform other miscellaneous activities as assigned by management
