Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid CDL Class B license
  • Class A license preferred
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Maintain a clean driving record without SR22 insurance
  • Provide copies of CDL and DMV record prior to start
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Have good customer relations skills
  • Prior beverage delivery experience is preferred

  • Ability to operate pallet jack and hand truck safely
  • Capable of lifting and moving heavy loads up to 170 pounds
  • Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Knowledge of FMCSA guidelines for commercial vehicle operation

Job Duties

  • Deliver and unload beverage products to customers
  • Drive truck over established route to deliver and sell products
  • Collect money from customers and make change
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle daily
  • Properly secure the load for transport
  • Follow FMCSA regulations for operation of commercial vehicles
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness according to company standards
  • Read and work from routing manifests to deliver products
  • Use truck, pallet jack (electric or manual), and/or hand truck
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Comply with special instructions for delivery
  • Check each load for accuracy upon delivery
  • Collect company assets from previous deliveries
  • Accurately adjust invoices and issue credit as instructed
  • Merchandise stock according to service agreements
  • Obtain customer signatures and proof of delivery documentation
  • Collect cash or check payments per customer terms
  • Reconcile route payments at end of day
  • Collaborate with other departments as necessary
  • Complete other assigned duties
