Job Requirements
- 18 or older (19 or older in some states)
- valid driver’s license number
- social security number (US only)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on city)
- ability to pass ID verification
- legal authorization to work in the US
- adherence to local delivery regulations.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in customer service is a plus
- familiarity with local delivery areas
- ability to use a smartphone and mobile apps proficiently
- valid driver's license (for motor vehicle deliveries)
- good physical condition to handle deliveries
- knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or convenience stores
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- manage time efficiently to maximize deliveries
- interact courteously and professionally with customers
- use the DoorDash app to accept and complete delivery tasks
- maintain communication with DoorDash support when necessary
- handle payments and cash out earnings.
