- 21 plus to deliver alcohol
- valid driver’s license number
- social security number (only in the US)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- must be 19 plus in certain states such as Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, West Virginia
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years old (21 years to deliver alcohol)
- valid driver's license or applicable permit for scooter or bicycle delivery
- access to a reliable vehicle such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on city)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- knowledge of the local area and navigation skills
- ability to pass background check and verify identification
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests via the DoorDash app
- pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail locations
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- handle customer interactions professionally and courteously
- ensure the safe transport of food and items to maintain quality
- use the app to track deliveries and earnings
- manage time effectively to maximize delivery opportunities
