Job Requirements

  • No degree required
  • One or more years of experience required
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Must qualify for corporate insurance including vehicle insurance
  • Must meet Department of Transportation testing and physical requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must comply with DOT and FMCSA regulations

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Must qualify for corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance
  • Must meet Department of Transportation testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Ability to follow clear directions and procedures
  • Uses guidance provided by supervisor or manager

Job Duties

  • Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
  • Physically load company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with the deliveries
  • Drive to the delivery destination and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature of receiving location confirming the accuracy of parts, and sign off on the integrity of what was loaded
  • Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts for parts being returned from customers
  • Collect accounts receivable as necessary
  • Comply with established company policies and procedures
  • Operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
  • Provide excellent customer service during delivery or pickup of products
  • Assume other duties as assigned
