Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
- minimum 12 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
- physically able to lift and move furniture indoors and outdoors including stairs and all weather conditions
- ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
- ability to comply with FMCSA regulations
- ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to converse with the public, understand highway signs, respond to inquiries, and complete records
- ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate including passing physical and drug screening
- ability to pass road test and meet CORT’s safe driving standards
- authorized to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including regular weekends, nights, and/or early mornings, and varied hours

- physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions

- ability to comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations
- ability to maintain valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate by passing physical and drug screening
- ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements
- acceptable Motor Vehicle Record per CORT’s Safe Driving Standards
Job Duties
- Inspect furniture to ensure acceptable condition
- load truck safely to protect products from damage during transport
- attend pre-delivery meetings to review logistics, timelines, and client expectations
- maintain regular communication with operations team and district service representatives
- complete pre and post trip truck inspections
- clean and prep trucks for future shifts
- complete all required written documentation
- operate electronic logging device and maintain all records as required by FMCSA
- drive box trucks or sprinter vans on delivery routes safely and lawfully
- install and assemble furniture at tradeshow or event venues following floor plans or client instructions
- clean, touch up, or perform repairs on furniture as needed
- use show site mobile app to document delivery accuracy
- inspect furniture for customer-inflicted damage during pickups
- load furniture and ensure no product is left behind at venues
- interact professionally with clients during deliveries and setups
- address questions or concerns to ensure positive customer experiences
- instruct temporary associates on delivery, pickup, loading, and unloading tasks onsite
- supervise temporary labor ensuring work is performed safely and per client requests
- perform warehouse duties including manual loading and unloading of materials, organizing warehouse inventory, unboxing, and cleaning products
- perform other duties as assigned
