Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Provide social security number (for US residents)
- Use a eligible vehicle such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Pass a background check and ID verification
- Able to lift and carry moderate loads
- Availability to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to use a smartphone and mobile applications effectively
- Strong communication and navigation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Must meet local age and licensing regulations
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- Deliver orders to customers promptly and with care
- Use the DoorDash app to manage orders and navigate routes
- Communicate with customers and support as needed
- Ensure orders are complete and accurate before delivery
- Maintain professionalism and friendly customer service
- Manage earnings and cash out using the DoorDash app
