Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older (19 or older in certain states)
- Valid driver’s license number
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Social security number (for US-based Dashers)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Successful background and identity verification
- Ability to work flexible hours
- No outstanding legal or licensing issues
Job Qualifications
- Ability to operate a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle safely
- Basic smartphone proficiency to use the delivery app
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and support staff
- Dependability and punctuality to maintain timely deliveries
- Familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods is a plus
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift and carry orders safely
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, and retail outlets
- Deliver orders promptly to customers at various locations
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage and accept delivery requests
- Communicate effectively with customers and support teams
- Ensure accuracy and quality of orders before delivery
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and local knowledge
- Manage cash-outs and earnings via the app
