Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
  • Minimum of 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
  • Physically able and willing to move furniture indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
  • Ability to comply with FMCSA regulations including reading and speaking English
  • Ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate by passing physical and drug screening
  • Ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA and company requirements
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record based on company safe driving standards

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and early mornings
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
  • Minimum of 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger vehicle, 1 year preferred
  • Physically able to move furniture indoors, outdoors, and in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
  • Ability to comply with FMCSA regulations including reading and speaking English sufficiently
  • Ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate
  • Successful completion of a road test as per FMCSA and company requirements
  • Acceptable motor vehicle record per company safe driving standards

Job Duties

  • Loading trucks to protect products from damage and ensure accurate loading order
  • Attend pre-delivery meetings to review logistics, timelines, and client expectations
  • Complete pre and post trip truck inspections and prepare trucks for future shifts
  • Complete all required documentation and operate electronic logging devices accurately
  • Drive box trucks or sprinter vans safely and legally on delivery routes
  • Assemble and install furniture at tradeshow or event venues according to floor plans or client instructions
  • Inspect furniture during pickups, load into trucks, and ensure no product is left behind
  • Provide onsite customer service by professionally interacting with clients and addressing concerns
  • Supervise temporary associates on site to ensure safe and client-compliant work
  • Perform warehouse duties as needed including loading/unloading materials and organizing inventory
  • Other duties as assigned
