Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Hold a valid and current driver's license in state of residency
- Have at least 3 months experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger
- Be physically able to lift furniture indoors, outdoors, up and down stairs, and in all weather conditions with partner assistance
- Comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations including reading and speaking English
- Maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, passing physical and drug screen
- Pass a road test and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) according to company standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license in state of residency
- Minimum 3 months professional experience driving 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
- Ability to move furniture indoors and outdoors including stairs in various weather
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English sufficiently to comply with FMCSA regulations
- Ability to maintain valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate including passing physical and drug screenings
- Able to pass road test per FMCSA and company safety standards
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Job Duties
- Review route and safety topics with the operations team at warehouse before departure
- Drive a 26-foot box truck with lift gate to customer locations
- Load, unload, deliver, and install furniture
- Interact with customers professionally while delivering and assembling furniture
- Assist with warehouse duties including loading and unloading furniture as needed
