Job Requirements
- minimum age of 18 years
- must be 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- possess a valid driver’s license number
- have consistent access to a smartphone
- must have a Social Security number (for US residents)
- use any car, scooter, or bicycle (bicycles allowed in select cities)
- pass background check and ID verification
- ability to provide own transportation and cover vehicle expenses
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- familiarity with using smartphone applications
- strong time management and organizational skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- deliver orders promptly and professionally to customers
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage delivery tasks
- maintain communication with customers and support when necessary
- ensure accuracy of orders and handle them with care
- comply with safety and traffic laws during deliveries
- cash out earnings through the app
