Job Requirements
- valid state-issued driver's license
- must be at least 21 years of age
- 1-3 years of customer-facing experience
- ability to lift and carry 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- willingness to obtain forklift certification if required
- successful completion of pre-employment drug screen
- successful completion of physical including DOT Medical Card
- background check
- motor vehicle record check
- compliance with DOT and driving certifications if applicable
- flexibility to work weekends, holidays, occasional overtime, and travel
- adherence to safety procedures during loading, unloading, and transport
- ability to assemble furniture and use small power tools
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of successful experience in customer-facing roles
- excellent communication skills
- proficiency in using hand trucks and basic assembly
- ability to operate small power tools
- willingness to obtain forklift certification if required
- ability to read invoices and utilize systems efficiently
- valid state-issued driver's license
- ability to lift and carry 75 lbs unassisted regularly
- knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service
- ability to maintain accurate logs and records
- ability to maintain professional demeanor while interacting with customers
Job Duties
- deliver exceptional customer service and experience
- act as the brand ambassador during deliveries and on the road
- provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while delivering high-quality products
- proactively provide solutions including furniture assembly or repairs
- develop and maintain comprehensive product knowledge
- drive large box trucks safely and follow all safety procedures
- maintain timely delivery schedule and communicate with customers
- inspect vehicles pre and post trip
- maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- ensure all products are transported, loaded, and unloaded safely
- assemble furniture and prepare merchandise for delivery
- review and verify invoices and purchase requests
- maintain accurate inventory
- remove packaging materials and debris
- assist with showroom changes and merchandising
- greet clients and answer phones professionally
- occasionally drive long distances with overnight stays
