Job Requirements
- Age 18 or over
- Valid State Drivers’ License
- Regular and predictable access to own automobile
- Good driving history with no DWI convictions and limited speeding violations and at-fault accidents
- Proof of insurance coverage compliant with state regulations
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely
- Ability to repeatedly get into and out of a vehicle
- Physical ability to bend, squat, reach, and climb stairs
- Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
- Ability to use cash registers, calculators, credit card machines, and telephones
- Ability to work in variable temperature environments
- Ability to walk briskly and carry heavy objects
- Ability to comply with health department regulations and company dress code
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least six months work experience preferred unless currently attending school
- Ability to memorize menu abbreviations and prices
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to handle and balance money and credit card slips
- Ability to follow directions accurately
- Strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Picking up the customer’s food order at Jason’s Deli
- Driving to the customer’s residential or commercial address
- Delivering the customer’s order
- Performing catering set-up or arranging the catering and food orders
- Collecting the money owed by the customer
- Returning to the deli and picking up additional orders and repeating the process
- Answering customer questions or handling customers’ problems while at the delivery site
