Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- 1-3 years of relevant customer service experience
- Valid state-issued driver's license
- Minimum 2 years safe driving record
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds regularly unassisted
- Ability to assemble furniture
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with hand trucks and basic power tools
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification if required
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Successfully complete physical including DOT Medical Card
- Clear background and motor vehicle record check
- Comply with random and post-accident drug testing
- Sign nondisclosure agreement
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- 1-3 years of successful experience in customer-facing roles
- Valid state-issued driver's license with minimum 2 years of safe driving experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in using a hand truck and basic assembly tools
- Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds unassisted regularly
- Ability to obtain forklift certification if required
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and occasional travel
- Ability to read invoices and utilize systems to better serve customers
- CDL Class C license preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Deliver exceptional customer service and experience
- Act as the brand ambassador while on the road and during deliveries
- Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service while delivering high-quality products
- Assemble furniture and perform minor repairs
- Drive large box trucks safely and courteously following all traffic laws and company safety procedures
- Maintain a timely delivery schedule and communicate with customers via phone, email, and text
- Inspect delivery vehicles before and after trips to ensure they are in good condition
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with Department of Transportation regulations
- Safely load and unload merchandise ensuring it is in perfect condition
- Remove packaging materials and debris leaving a clean delivery site
- Assist with showroom changes, tagging merchandise, and maintaining displays
- Greet clients and answer phones professionally and politely
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
