Job Requirements
- No degree required
- 1+ years of experience required
- possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- must qualify for corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance
- meet Department of Transportation testing and physical requirements
- be at least 21 years of age
- comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as DOT and FMCSA regulations
Job Qualifications
- No degree required
- 1+ years of delivery driving experience preferred
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- prior warehouse operations experience preferred
- knowledge of DOT regulations
- ability to operate company vehicle safely
- strong customer service skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Job Duties
- Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
- physically load company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with deliveries
- drive to delivery destination and unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature confirming accuracy, and sign off on the integrity of loaded parts
- make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers
- collect accounts receivable as necessary
- comply with established company policies and procedures
- complete annual training as assigned
- operate in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations
- provide excellent customer service during delivery and pick up of products
- assume other duties as assigned
