Job Requirements
- Class B Commercial Driver's License with hazardous materials endorsement
- CETP certification for propane delivery
- apprentice oil burner license for furnace priming
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum one year of truck driving experience preferred
- ability to pass D.O.T. physical
- pass pre-employment and random drug testing
- minimum age of 21 years
- ability to handle physical demands including pulling delivery hoses up to 75 pounds
- ability to work in various weather conditions
- dependable and committed to customer service
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- at least 21 years of age
- minimum one year of previous truck driving experience preferred
- Class B Commercial Driver's License with hazardous materials endorsement required
- CETP training and certification required for propane delivery
- apprentice oil burner license required for oil delivery drivers who prime furnaces
- ability to pass a D.O.T. physical
- ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing
- proficiency with handheld delivery technology
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties
- Perform a daily safety check of the delivery vehicle and report any needed repairs
- review daily manifest, load truck, and make deliveries safely according to federal and state regulations and company policy
- follow established delivery standards emphasizing customer service, efficiency, and productivity
- attend and actively participate in delivery driver meetings
- communicate effectively with Delivery Center dispatchers and routing specialists
- maintain a neat personal appearance including a clean uniform
- become proficient using the Raven handheld device
- promote good customer relations by interacting professionally and respecting customer property
- keep truck clean, organized, and stocked with appropriate tools and safety equipment
- take responsibility for adhering to truck safety standards
- participate in night and weekend on-call schedule
- prime furnaces for customers who are out of oil or perform leak tests and light pilot lights for propane customers
- embrace growth opportunities involving cross-training or supporting other departments as needed
