Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Good knowledge of local routes and geographical areas
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to handle physical loading and unloading tasks
- Basic documentation and record-keeping abilities
Job Duties
- Loading transporting and delivering items to clients or business in a safe timely manner
- Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied
- Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
- Providing excellent customer service answering questions and handling complaints from clients
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
- Preparing signature and other documents relating to deliveries
