Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs frequently
- Comfortable with periods of sitting, standing, walking, climbing, or balancing
- Capable of stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
- Regular use of hands, arms, vision, and hearing
- Tolerance for outdoor work and varying weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 5 years, 0-4 current points on license)
- Minimum 3 years of route delivery or distribution experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using GPS, tablets, and general computer systems
- ServSafe food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
Job Duties
- Safely deliver food items and supplies to customer homes or sites according to assigned routes
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while providing courteous service
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper upkeep
- Follow food safety and handling procedures, including temperature compliance
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, check fluid levels, and maintain service logs
- Report any vehicle or delivery issues promptly to your supervisor
- Assist with packing, loading, and storing of food items and supplies as needed
- Maintain driver scorecards and required records accurately
- Demonstrate consistent attendance and reliability to ensure timely customer service
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Schedule Monday-Friday, some mandatory Saturdays based on business need
