- Valid driver’s license number
- Social security number (only in the US)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Own a car, scooter, or bicycle (bicycle applicable in select cities)
- Successful completion of ID verification
- Must be at least 19 years old in specific states such as Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- Have a valid driver's license number
- Possess a smartphone with consistent access
- Ability to navigate local areas efficiently
- Have reliable transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Pass the required ID verification and eligibility checks
Job Duties
- Deliver meals to customers in a timely manner
- Pick up groceries and retail items from stores
- Manage delivery orders using the DoorDash Dasher app
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery
- Handle cash out and payments efficiently
- Maintain communication with customers and DoorDash support
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations
