Job Requirements
- Must have a valid drivers license with a safe driving record accepted by the company
- ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening excluding THC to the extent legally permissible
- must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card specific to the role
- ability to work additional hours beyond the scheduled shift including overtime based on business needs
- ability to lift up to 70 pounds and push/pull items up to 400 pounds with equipment
- must wear safety composite shoes
- must be at least 21 years of age
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- minimum one year of truck driving experience operating a 16ft or longer straight truck or comparable vehicle
- high volume package delivery experience
- basic English language skills both verbal and written communications
- ability to make sound decisions and provide excellent customer interactions
Job Duties
- Transport products safely to customers on assigned routes
- load delivery trucks as needed based on volume
- organize and load products using delivery manifests
- ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture
- provide customer support including accepting product returns
- use technology such as GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
- maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and report any maintenance concerns
