Job Requirements

- 1+ years of experience required
- possess a valid driver's license and safe driving record
- must qualify for corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance
- must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements
- must be at least 21 years of age
- comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations

- knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- must be at least 21 years of age
- comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- six months related delivery driving experience preferred
- prior warehouse operations experience preferred
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- frequent use of applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel
- basic oral communication and ability to write brief messages and keep simple records
- solve routine problems by following clear directions and procedures
- make decisions affecting own job or assigned functional area
- use guidance and guidelines provided by supervisor or manager
Job Duties
- Drive a company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents
- manually load company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made
- drive to the delivery destination and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature of receiving location confirming the accuracy of parts delivered
- make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers to the location
- collect accounts receivable as necessary
- comply with established company policies and procedures
- operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
- provide excellent customer service during delivery and pick up of products
- assume other duties as assigned
