Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record with fewer than two tickets or at fault accidents in the last 2 years
- Experience with delivery or professional driving preferred
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with GPS and smartphone app technology
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Physical ability to perform driving and delivery tasks
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Have had a license for 2 years if 18 years old, or 1 year if 19 years
- Less than two tickets/at fault accidents in the last 2 years, and less than three in the last 3 years
- Previous experience in delivery or professional driving preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong navigation abilities and familiarity with GPS technology
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Proficiency in using smartphone apps for delivery tracking and communication
- Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexible schedule, including potential weekend and evening shifts
Job Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to customers in South Weatherford and surrounding areas
- Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling and organization
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency
- Use smartphone apps and GPS technology for navigation and delivery tracking
- Verify delivery information and obtain necessary signatures
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from recipients
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations
- Assist with additional tasks as needed, such as prepping food, washing dishes, and cleaning
