Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years of medium-duty truck driving experience
- valid driver’s license
- valid commercial driver’s license if applicable
- current medical card
- eligibility to drive commercial vehicles under FMCSR
- minimum age of 20
- ability to lift equipment weighing up to 100 pounds and move equipment up to 1000 pounds
- ability to read maps and use GPS
- physical ability to repeatedly stoop, bend, squat, and kneel
- ability to work independently
- compliance with all DOT regulations
- must maintain a safe driving record
- willingness to stay overnight as needed
- ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jack
- basic computer literacy
- strong communication skills
- ability to provide customer training and technical support
Job Qualifications
- Safe driving record and history
- completion of online technical training focused on networking and installation
- on-the-job training with field technicians
- eligibility to drive commercial vehicles as per FMCSR regulations
- valid driver’s license
- minimum two years of medium-duty truck driving experience
- successful completion of road test
- valid current medical card
- minimum age of 20 years
- high school diploma or equivalent
- valid commercial driver’s license if required by state
- ability to read maps and use GPS
- willingness for overnight stays
- strong customer presentation and communication skills
- familiarity with smartphones or tablets
- basic computer skills
- adequate technical skills for installation and networking
- ability to write legibly and perform basic math
- potential certification on warehouse equipment operation
Job Duties
- Ensures equipment is safely delivered to the correct location
- maintains log books in accordance with DOT regulations
- performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections
- performs pick-up of product during delivery
- installs and networks office equipment including setting IP addresses and downloading print drivers
- provides basic customer training on equipment usage
- participates in safety programs
- pre-calls customers when applicable
- achieves assigned productivity levels
- demonstrates good technical and customer relation skills
- identifies customer needs and refers calls as appropriate
- provides feedback to service teams
- maintains professional appearance
- contacts dispatch or service if technician support is needed
- ensures equipment matches documentation
- secures equipment properly for transport
- captures electronic customer signatures
- ensures all paperwork is completed
- loads and offloads trucks
- trains new drivers
- follows accident and incident reporting procedures
- conducts inventory cycle counts and reconciliations
- reconciles inventory at end of day
- meets productivity and quality standards
- manages inventory value up to $1,000,000
- may stay overnight
- operates warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- performs other assigned duties
