Job Requirements
- Possess a clean, valid driver’s license
- be at least 21 years of age
- approved driver through DOT and Scheels Driving Standards
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- one to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination
- ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without accommodation
- ability to exert in excess of 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently
- ability to follow all safety procedures
- ability to work varied schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and training
- demonstrate pride and ownership of work
- meet Scheels dress and grooming standards
- show respect and appreciation for others
- arrive 10 minutes early to work and meetings
- consistent eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to changing work environment
- ability to apply basic math and language concepts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred

- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance manuals

Job Duties
- Ensure safe and proper loading and transport of merchandise to be delivered
- efficiently assemble service and/or deliver customer and store merchandise including exercise machines, trampolines, basketball hoops, safes, grills, furniture, game tables, bicycles and other merchandise
- troubleshoot and respond to customer delivery and equipment issues
- maintain accurate and detailed records for store, customer equipment, and delivery trucks
- maintain vehicles including budgeting for oil changes and tires
- execute quick and efficient ordering of parts and supplies within budget
- ensure a clean and professional appearance of delivery trucks and delivery area
- read and interpret safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
- maintain professional appearance and attitude, contribute to positive team atmosphere
- complete basic mathematical equations
- work varied schedule including weekends, evenings, holidays, and training meetings
