Job Requirements
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction
- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Develop scheduling strategies for customer volume

- Develop and execute department business plans
- Implement and communicate sales promotions
- Maintain inventory and stock conditions
- Schedule price changes and promotional signage
- Monitor department expenses
- Train associates on inventory and ordering systems

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred

- Ability to develop and implement business and sales plans
Job Duties
- Complete a 4-12 week training program comprising internal and external phases
- Travel within the division to provide training and relief support
- Create exceptional customer experiences through outstanding service and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Achieve department sales and profit goals while monitoring quality assurance standards
- Direct and supervise all departmental functions, duties, and activities
- Support daily deli operations by promoting freshness and friendliness
- Demonstrate Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
